Rasam Powder is a traditional South Indian spice blend used to prepare flavorful and aromatic rasam. It is made by dry roasting selected spices and lentils to enhance their aroma and shelf life. To prepare Rasam Powder, coriander seeds, dry red chilies, cumin seeds, black pepper, and lentils such as toor dal or chana dal are dry roasted separately on a low flame until they release a pleasant aroma and turn lightly golden. Curry leaves and a small quantity of asafoetida (hing) may also be lightly roasted for added flavor. All the roasted ingredients are allowed to cool completely.Size : 50G
